Counselling is a critical part of our treatment plans at Wellbeings®. We use the cognitive behavioural approach to counselling. With Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), our patients have the opportunity to work with a mental health counsellor in a structured manner.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy assists a person to become aware of negative or intrusive thought patterns, so they are able to change those thoughts and approach challenging situations with strength and clarity. CBT helps patients respond to these situations in a more positive and effective way.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is used within a patient’s treatment plan for those who are seeking help at Wellbeings®. It can also be an effective tool to help a person improve problem-solving and decision-making skills.

CBT helps a person better manage many of life’s difficult situations, including recovery from addiction and pain management.

Our mission is to put our “patients first” using a multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of pain management and addiction.
